Jandy
Jandy gives a pump, heater or salt system bought online no warranty at all. The model numbers, parts lists and terms behind that, checked against Jandy.
Pumps
- Jandy ePumpJandy's largest-body variable-speed pump in 2.7 and 3.8 HP: why the 3.8 isn't ENERGY STAR, the unions that grow, and the blue o-ring to throw away.
- Jandy FloProThe Jandy single-speed line that lost its top half to the DOE rule, and the two-speed model that is the efficient one left.
- Jandy StealthJandy's single-speed pump, where the same machine is sold under two different horsepowers — and the parts list proves it.
- Jandy VS FloProThe variable-speed pump that runs on 115 volts as well as 230: which sizes keep their full performance there, and what Jandy's own wire table says it costs.
- Jandy VS PlusHPJandy's 2.7 HP pump in the PlusHP body: what it gives up on 115 volts, relays that wait for 1,725 RPM, and the controller letters to check.
Filters
- Jandy CS Cartridge FilterJandy's single-cartridge filter in four sizes: why three of them share a 125 GPM limit, when to clean it, and the breather tube that matters for safety.
- Jandy CV and CLJandy's four-cartridge filters: how the CV and CL differ, the clamp that closes to a gap rather than a torque, and why no store link appears here.
- Jandy DEV D.E. FilterJandy's vertical grid D.E. filter: the powder each size takes, two maximum flows depending which document you read, and the clamp gap that decides if it's safe.
- Jandy SFSM Sand FilterJandy's side-mount sand filter in four sizes: how much sand each takes, the backwash valve it can't run without, and a weight limit its own sand table breaks.
- Jandy SFTM Sand FilterJandy's top-mount sand filter in its two sizes: how much sand each takes, the pressure that means backwash, and why one bought online has no Jandy warranty.
Heaters
- Jandy JXiJandy's compact gas heater: one year on the unit but five on the heat exchanger, if it left the factory with the VersaFlo bypass fitted.
- Jandy JXiQJandy's newest compact gas heater — 399,000 BTU on a two-foot pad, the heat exchanger cover that depends on VersaFlo, and why buying it online means none.
- Jandy VersaTemp JRT SeriesJandy's VersaTemp heat and chill pumps, JRT2000R to JRT3000R3: output at 80°F and 50°F air, flow and height limits, the defrost modes, and cold plunge setup.

Lights
- Jandy Infinite WaterColors Niched LED LightsJandy's color LED for a standard niche: it fits some Pentair and Hayward niches, but runs only on its own controller and AquaLink RS rev Y or later.
- Jandy WaterColors Nicheless LED Lights with HydroCoolJandy's nicheless LED pool light — the conduit it still needs, the 4-inch depth rule, 33 model numbers, and why an online purchase has no warranty.
Automation
- Jandy AquaLink RSThe most configurable of the big three automation systems: fourteen system boards, and a number in the model that means two different things.
- Jandy AquaLink TCXJandy's one-relay app controller for a pool with no spa: what it runs, the kit that fits inside a timer box, and where Jandy's documents disagree.
Before you buy Jandy
Buying online voids it entirely
Every manufacturer here runs some kind of channel policy. Jandy has the strictest one on the site, and it is worth knowing before a bargain tempts you.
Jandy's limited warranty states that it does not apply to Jandy branded products purchased through the Internet or other e-commerce platforms, excepting only valves under three inches, parts and accessories. That is not a reduced term. Pentair still gives an online-bought product a year and removes the labor; Hayward sells an Open Line on shorter coverage. Jandy gives a heater, a pump or a salt system bought online no manufacturer warranty at all.
It also requires installation and service by a contractor licensed and qualified in pool equipment where local rules demand one, and coverage runs to the first retail purchaser only, in the fifty states and Canada, at the original installation site.
The default is one year, and the exceptions are the point
Jandy warrants its products for one year from retail purchase as a baseline. The exceptions are where the value is, and they are specific:
Variable-speed pumps, three years. Nicheless underwater lights, three years. Complete salt systems, three years — but only when the controller and cell are purchased and installed together. Heat pumps two years, with compressors and heat exchangers at five.
And the one that decides a purchase: a JXi gas heater is one year, but its heat exchanger is five if the VersaFlo Integrated Bypass was factory-installed. Same part, five times the term, settled by an option chosen at order time and impossible to add later.
Part numbers, and the Fluidra family
Jandy, Polaris and Zodiac are all Fluidra, which is why Jandy parts carry the same R0 prefix you will see on a Polaris cleaner. The number tells you the part, not the brand it was sold under.
Jandy publishes its manuals with full exploded parts lists split by system — cabinet, heat, water and electrical — and the tables run a column per model. On a heater the columns separate copper from cupro-nickel as well as size, so read the column heading before copying a number out of a row.
