MOVA

MOVA's cordless Diver A10: what its runtime covers, the parts MOVA sells, and a warranty split three ways that only applies to a US authorized sale.

Cleaners

Before you buy MOVA

The warranty is three warranties, and it is US only

MOVA splits a pool robot three ways rather than giving it one term: two years on the main unit and motor, one year on the battery pack, and ninety days on consumables such as filters, brushes and filter canisters, and that ninety days covers defects only.

The exclusions are where a cordless robot actually fails. Tracks and scrubbing brushes are excluded unless they arrive defective. So are freeze damage, improper winter storage, chemical damage to the seals from unbalanced water, and the normal loss of battery capacity with age — which is the failure that ends most cordless robots, and it is not a warranty matter.

Coverage runs to the original purchaser in the United States only, and only for a robot bought from MOVA's own US sales channels or an authorized US reseller. The period starts on the later of purchase or delivery; without proof of either, MOVA starts it ninety days after the date on the nameplate. The Amazon listing is sold by MOVA's own store and advertises two years, which is the robot's term rather than the battery's.

One robot, and a short parts list

MOVA's pool line in the US is the cordless Diver A10, and the parts MOVA sells for it are few — which is the honest position for a cordless robot, where the battery is not a serviceable item. Read the runtime figure against what it covers rather than against a wall-clock number, and check what robot maintenance actually involves before choosing one over a suction cleaner.
