Beatbot

Beatbot's cordless AquaSense 2: four hours of floor cleaning, a three-year warranty that covers the battery, and one spare part sold only in Europe.

Cleaners

Before you buy Beatbot

Three years, but only on part of it and only through the right seller

Beatbot gives thirty-six months in the United States and Canada on what it calls the main body — the drive box, including the battery, circuit board, motors and sensors, plus the plastic parts and the power supply. A battery covered for three years is unusual in cordless robots and is the strongest thing in the policy.

The rest is narrower. The filter basket and roller brushes are consumables warranted for three months, and certified refurbished units get twenty-four months, not thirty-six. Coverage applies only to robots bought directly from Beatbot or an authorized dealer and excludes anything from an unauthorized reseller, so the marketplace listing is the risk rather than the price.

A claim needs proof of purchase and the serial number, runs from the purchase date on the receipt, and is served only in the Beatbot service area where the robot was bought. One thing to note before relying on the marketing: Beatbot's product page sells this as full replacement with no repairs, while its warranty policy says Beatbot will repair or replace, and that shipping the robot to a service center for diagnosis is the customer's to arrange.

A short parts list, and what that means

Beatbot lists one replacement part for the AquaSense 2, and sells it only in Europe. For a US buyer that makes the robot effectively non-serviceable, which is the trade behind the three-year main body term: the warranty is the repair plan. Weigh it against what the rest of the field offers before buying on runtime alone.
