Before you buy Zodiac
The PRO suffix is the pool-store version
Zodiac runs a channel split on its suction cleaners, and the model name tells you which side you are on. The G3, W03000, is the version sold online. The G3 PRO, W03000TR, is a Trade Series model that Zodiac says is available only at a local pool store and cannot be bought online.
The two share one parts diagram and one owner's manual. The PRO adds a spare diaphragm in the box, and the warranty is where they really part: ninety days on the G3, one year on the G3 PRO.
What the warranty says
Zodiac's limited warranty for the United States and Canada, which also covers products branded Baracuda, gives Zodiac products one year from retail purchase. The G3 is named as an exception at ninety days.
Surface disks, shoes, tires and footpads are wear items and are not warranted at all, and purchased replacement parts carry ninety days. Coverage runs to the first retail purchaser, is not transferable, and does not include labor or shipping. A claim starts with the original dealer, with proof of purchase, the model and serial numbers, and the dates of purchase and installation.
Like Jandy's, it applies only to products installed and serviced by a licensed contractor where local rules require one, or an experienced professional where they do not, unless the product's own manual or quick start guide says otherwise. Unlike Jandy's, it has no exclusion for internet purchases.
